When a number from Nigeria makes sense for OkCupid
Apps tend to tie your account to the country of your phone number. If you live in Nigeria, are moving there or spend time there, a number from Nigeria (+234) keeps the sign-up consistent with where you'll use OkCupid.
It is also the simple fix when your own number is already linked to an old OkCupid account, or when you'd rather not hand your personal number to another app.
What OkCupid verification usually asks for
- Code format: a numeric SMS code.
- Set an email login inside the app afterwards.
