Hinge verificationReal phone number for Hinge verification
Hinge asks for a mobile number when you create an account and confirms it with a texted code. Your phone number is the main way Hinge identifies you, so it is also what decides whether you can make a fresh start after deleting a profile.
A rented number gives you a working SMS step today. Because it is a one-time number, set up a second sign-in method (Apple or Google, where offered) before you close the app.
What Hinge verification usually asks for
- Code format: a short numeric SMS code.
- Hinge links your account to the number โ keep another login method active.
- Select the number's country in Hinge's dial-code picker before typing the digits.
