When a number from Bulgaria makes sense for Grindr
Apps tend to tie your account to the country of your phone number. If you live in Bulgaria, are moving there or spend time there, a number from Bulgaria (+359) keeps the sign-up consistent with where you'll use Grindr.
It is also the simple fix when your own number is already linked to an old Grindr account, or when you'd rather not hand your personal number to another app.
What Grindr verification usually asks for
- Code format: a numeric SMS code.
- Keep your email login — the number is for this verification only.
