- Type it into Grindr. Done.
If the code doesn't arrive
Give it two minutes before resending from Grindr. If the window runs out with no SMS, the number is cancelled and the credit returns to your code automatically; request a number in a different country and try again.
Afterwards
Make sure your email login works and is current. If Grindr asks again later, you can verify with a fresh number.
