Privacy Policy

Short version: we don't have accounts, we don't store the numbers we give you or the SMS codes you receive, and we keep the little we do need for as short a time as possible.

What we do not store

• The phone numbers we rent to you.
• The SMS codes or message text you receive.
• Which dating profile you created.

The number and code are sent once to your browser and saved in your browser's local storage so you can see them if you reload the page. Clearing your browser data removes them.

What we do store

• Orders: the email address you gave Stripe (to send your code), the pack, the amount and the payment status. Kept for accounting and tax obligations.
• Credit codes: the code, how many credits remain and when it expires.
• Number rentals: the provider's reference id, the app and country, the status, and which code paid for it — needed to refund a credit if no SMS arrives. Deleted 7 days after creation.
• Anonymous counters: per-day totals such as "Tinder numbers issued", with no link to any person.
• Rate limiting: a one-way hash of your IP address, kept for 24 hours to slow down abuse. Never the address itself.

Payments

Card details are entered on Stripe's checkout page and never reach our servers. Stripe's privacy policy applies to that data.

Email

We send one transactional email with your code. We don't add you to a mailing list.

Third parties

• Stripe (payments).
• Our SMS provider (receives the app and country of a request; never your email or payment details).
• Our email delivery provider (receives your address and the code email).
• Analytics, if enabled: aggregate page-view statistics.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of, or deletion of, the order data tied to your email: support@numbersfordating.com. Some records must be kept for tax law.
